Hudson Bayou Residence

The bright colors and ancient fossils found in this home reflect the family’s interest in modern art and paleontology. A deep blue was chosen to accent the interiors, connecting the interiors to Sarasota Bay which is visible through the floor to ceiling windows. Fish fossils from the Green River Formation bring depth, texture and warmth to the spa, master bath, and all-white kitchen. Rich fabrics accent the furniture groupings with yellow, green-grey, and more blues. The furniture is an eclectic mix of re-upholstered family pieces, modern wood and Italian leather selections. The Owner’s collection of modern art, historic artifacts, ancient fossils and model sailboats are featured throughout the home.
